I was the president of a public school board, and superintendent of a public school. My commitment is to do what is best for the district, the students, the staff, and the community.

We should prioritize long-term growth by prioritzing spending in a way that will benefit the students' experience. The focus should be hiring and retaining strong educators and providing excellent evidence-based curriculum. Adopting transparent financial planning and careful supervision is crucial for maintaining a stable and prosperous future for our district.
Trust is built through openness. By ensuring visibility into district decisions, we foster trust with members of the community. Board decisions will occur in open meetings. We will recognize the value of debate and discourse. Transparency requires openess about the substance of district decisions. By being transparent we cultivate a stronger, more reliable link between our schools and the Rochester neighborhood.

Ethical Leadership
Board Trustees must be open and transparent, and accountable to the taxpayers who elected them to provide public education to their students. Trustees must be well trained in laws, policies and rules relevant to running both effective board meetings and serving their mission to maintain their fiduciary duties, provide the district with excellent curriculum and encourage and support the students, administration and educators.
